A cracking month this month and lots from everybody but always room for more.
Following on from Paul's this is an owl from last month in Auz at the Tangarona Zoo.
Face is sharp but wings are just a bit soft but they are in full flight just out of the stump.

Nice capture! Iwould be tempted to use the rotation blur tool to increase the blur of the wings. They're already a bit soft, so you'd not lose too much additional detail.
ReplyDeleteNow for full movement, you'd have had to use a slow shutter and zoom and pan (at the same time with several of your additional hands) to keep the owl's eyes in pin-sharp focus. That would've blurred the background too.
The obvious alternative is to have shot with a ridiculously short shutter speed and frozen everything in focus. Good luck!
