The sky is falling down

Well according to the weather forecast you poor souls in Dubai are enjoying beautiful clear air, hot tempuratures and not a cloud in the sky........so I thought I'd cheer you up by sharing a shot or two of the clouds we are having to suffer at the moment:
"A Gouldston Country Sky"

Arn't they awful?!?! And when we got up this morning we were treated to such an abundance of cloud that lots of it had to wait at ground level for its turn to be up in the sky:

Lovely texture and DOF, the leading line from the road (and fence).
Infintity focus or Hyperfocal point ?
Not sure there is any HDR here either, you might actually have been being good and no HDR.

iPhone me thinks, lovely composition and very different view.
Try entering this in some of the iPhone competions etc.
Big tweaked version of your full frame would also be very nice.

    Cheers,

  2. Gouldston Country Sky - You are quite correct, no HDR this time and yes, tried the hyperfocal thing and have to say it does make a very nice impact.

Misty Opera - Not the iphone on this occasion, but the Leica followed by some photoshop tinkery to boost the effect.
