The icicles are nice but unfortunately you've cropped the bottom tips off and the top is a bit distracting to me. It is nice to have the eve of the roof in shot as a visual reference for them to hang from but it is a bit messy. Might have been better to frame a bit lower and get the bottom of the icicles and at the same time loose some of the eve.
The icicles seem to start shorter left to longer on the right which lends part of a diagonal which is nice.
You've also got an overall bluish tinge, which is very nice helps impart temperature to the image. Was this tungsten white balance, or did you try tungsten at all ?
I disagree. I think the eve is good, and I like that the icicles extend out of shot - it makes them seem really big. Just maybe the snowy horizon in the background could be a little higher up.
The blue tinge was as a consequence of the glass the picture was shot through - Too Cold to actually go outside and take this.
Also the snowy horizon if you notice it's a bit too uniform as it was actually a roof line off a building just below and out of shot so intentionally tried to loose it as a blur.
A building roof line, eh? I thought it was the ladder of a swimming pool. Not that anyone would be swimming during the off season.
As for the icicles, I agree with Richard that the tips should have been kept in frame, but I don't agree that the awning at the top is distracting.
The blue colour adds to a sense of coldness, and it works, whether it was deliberate or an accident.
If you'd not been lurking indoors, perhaps an off-camera flash could have lit up the icicles and made them sparkle or even scintillate. Perhaps even coruscate.
Hmm COLD brr...

Well done.
